Shana O'Connor

Shana O'Connor has a comprehensive work experience, starting with their current role as a Solutions Engineer at SmartRent since May 2021. Previously, they worked at StringCan Interactive as the Director of Sales and Marketing from September 2017 to May 2021. In that position, they successfully led sales efforts, managed the company's website, and developed branded assets to improve performance.

Before that, Shana served as the Business Development VP at HER Incorporated, a consumer health technology company, from 2009 to 2017. Their responsibilities included leading business development efforts for the company's flagship product, EmpowHER.

Shana also gained experience as an Account Executive at Saturday Night Magazine from 2008 to 2009, where they generated advertising revenue and managed event presence. Prior to that, they worked as a Public Relations Associate at Allied Integrated Marketing from 2006 to 2008, collaborating with Warner Bros. Pictures and Warner Independent Pictures on promotions and event planning for upcoming films.

Shana O'Connor attended Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication from 2004 to 2008. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Strategic Media and Public Relations, and also completed a minor in Business. In terms of additional certifications, Shana obtained the following: SharpSpring Certified Partner from SharpSpring in August 2019, HubSpot Sales Software Certified from HubSpot in November 2017, and HubSpot Inbound Certification from HubSpot Academy in October 2017.
