Richard Nelson possesses extensive experience in the public relations and marketing sectors, currently serving as Group Operating Officer and Global Executive Director at Smarts since December 2001. In these roles, Richard contributes to the leadership of one of the UK's largest Consumer PR agencies, focusing on global partnerships, international campaigns, and team development. Previous experience includes positions as Brand Communications Director and Senior Account Director, managing campaigns for renowned global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Coca-Cola, and Guinness. Richard also founded Northern Ireland's first dedicated online PR division as Head of Online PR and was involved in the successful operational management of Summer Madness, Ireland's largest youth festival, as Project Manager. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Stirling.
