Amar Shishodia

Amar Shishodia is a Senior Software Engineer I at Smartsheet since September 2025 and previously served as a Senior Software Engineer at SpotDraft from September 2023 to October 2025, where Amar led initiatives to enhance the scalability and reliability of the SaaS platform and engineered a custom background task scheduler. Prior to SpotDraft, Amar worked at Cyware from February 2019 to September 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer II, leading teams in re-architecting a monolithic product into a microservice architecture and developing microservices to support this transition. Earlier roles included Senior Software Engineer I, where Amar optimized product performance and developed a microservice for credential management, and Software Engineer, where significant improvements were made to a conditional rules module. Amar's early career included a software development internship that involved upgrading internal tools. Amar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Information Technology and completed high school at Bharati Vidyapeeth and DPS Noida.
