Jelke Schippers is the Founder and CEO of Smartshore, leading international teams to provide regional benefits on a global scale through Agile processes. Additionally, Jelke is a Partner at Ability, a digital product design studio, and a Member of the Board at The Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce & Trade. He is also a Member of the Board of Advisors at Your Data Company. Furthermore, Jelke founded Imonline, a community platform for web development, and co-founded Intelligent Design B.V., a company specializing in next level industrial design. Jelke holds a MSc in Management from Nyenrode Business University, a BSc in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology, and a Propedeuse in Elektrotechniek/Telematica from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.

For example, a team may consist of a scrum master, a software architect from the Netherlands and back-end and front-end developers from India. This way of working keeps the lines short and makes for effective communication. We have architects, team leads, scrum masters and designers in our offices in The Netherlands (Utrecht) and front-end and back-end developers in our two offices in India (Punjab & Goa). That way, we can work on-site with our clients and leverage our Indian office to increase output.
