Boris Martinez

Boris Martinez is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Technology of smartTrade UK and Global Head of Professional Services at smartTrade Technologies since October 2008. In this threefold role, Boris manages a team of engineers supporting tier I and II banks, enhances sales efforts with technical expertise, and drives client-focused developments in R&D. Previously, Boris held the position of Head of Technology for smartTrade Singapore, where responsibilities included fostering innovation in South-East Asia and supporting local sales efforts. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Senior Project Manager, orchestrating project resources and aligning client needs with business requirements, and as an R&D software engineer, developing software solutions using Java. Boris began the professional journey as a trainee at SII. An educational foundation in Computer Engineering and Software System Integration was established through a Master’s degree from Université de Provence (Aix-Marseille II) completed in 2008.
