Ken D Amato

Ken D'Amato has a diverse background in the technology and construction industry. Ken currently serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of SmarTwin™, where they provide digital twin and 3D simulation services to iconic venues and building owners/operators. Ken also offers expertise in building information modeling (BIM), CAD, and augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) renderings.

Prior to their current role, Ken worked as the US Business Development Manager for XYZ Reality, where they focused on developing business opportunities. Ken also served as a US Business Development Reseller for AKULAR, assisting with reselling activities.

In addition, Ken co-founded Vidoni Mixed Reality Learning, where they worked as the CEO and Co-Founder. Ken gained over 25 years of executive management experience in sales and corporate management with companies such as Xerox. Ken's expertise includes engineering training, BIM technology, and LiDAR laser scanning in the AEC industry.

Ken also served as an AEC-O Business Development Consultant for VR Global, providing virtual reality solutions for the commercial, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use markets. Ken helped clients enhance sales through the use of 2D/3D 360° photos, videos, and CGI that could be accessed online, on mobile devices, and in VR and AR environments.

Before their role at VR Global, Ken worked as a Senior USA Business Development Manager at AEC Resource, Inc., generating significant sales and meeting customer demands. Ken also held the position of Senior Account Executive at Microsol, Inc. and IMAGINiT Technologies, where they provided CAD and BIM solutions to the architectural, engineering, and construction industries.

Ken's successful track record also includes serving as a Senior Account Executive at Microdesk Inc., where they achieved sales of Autodesk software, Oracle Primavera, and BIM/FM implementation consulting. Ken was recognized by Autodesk as a top USA salesperson in the AEC technology solutions industry.

Throughout their career, Ken has demonstrated their ability to drive business development, deliver innovative solutions, and build strong relationships with clients.

Ken D'Amato - WELL AP has a strong education background in engineering. Ken attended Clemson University from 1984 to 1986, where they focused on Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians. Prior to that, they studied Engineering Science at SUNY at Delhi Delhi, NY from 1981 to 1983, earning an Engineering Science Associates Degree. In addition to their education, Ken has obtained certifications in various areas. Ken received a FARO Certification for Laser Scanning from FARO Technologies, Inc. in September 2016. Ken also has a certification in Autodesk BIM from Autodesk Fabrication. Furthermore, Ken is a WELL AP certified by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
