Owen She-Yin

Owen She-Yin has been working in software engineering since 2018. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer (Placement) at Refinitiv, an LSEG business, where they automated the build process and supported migration to cloud, and created the basis of an automated testing framework. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer at Mine Environment Management Ltd, where they developed a complex Windows 10 desktop solution from the ground up and was the sole developer working with a client to investigate the feasibility of creating a geoscience modelling application. In 2020, they were a Software Engineer at OnTheMove Software, developing mobile and desktop web apps using JavaScript and C#. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Smartwyre, delivering real-time product, pricing, and rebate data to farm input distributors, retailers, and manufacturers.

Owen She-Yin studied at Brighton College from 2011 to 2013 and then Brighton, Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College from 2013 to 2015. Owen then attended the University of Cambridge from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a BSc in Mathematics. Finally, they completed a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Exeter from 2016 to 2020.
