Faisal Amin

Faisal Amin has worked in the technology industry since 1998. Faisal began their career as a Database Developer at Oklahoma State University. In 2000, they moved to WilTel Communications as a Database Analyst II, which is now known as CenturyLink. In 2005, they joined Level 3 Communications as a Software Engineer II, where they developed and maintained 5 applications, designed a Workflow Manager, and architected, engineered, and implemented RBAC. In 2010, they joined Dimensional Fund Advisors as a Senior Product Manager, Senior Associate of Business Analysis, and Senior Associate of Software Development. Most recently, in 2022, they joined SMArtX Advisory Solutions as a Product and Portfolio Manager.

Faisal Amin has an extensive educational background. Faisal obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Texas at Austin in 2016, with a focus in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they earned a Masters in Management Sciences and Information Systems from Oklahoma State University in 2006. Faisal also obtained a BS in Management Sciences and Information Systems from Oklahoma State University in 2000. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn and other institutions, such as the Claritas Investment Certificate from CFA Institute in 2016, the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in 2014, and multiple certifications from LinkedIn in 2021 and 2022.
