Jason Dawson

Jason Dawson has a wealth of experience in trading operations and portfolio management. Jason began their career in 2000 as a Bond Trading Assistant/Back Office Manager at Kiley Bloemers, Inc. where they were responsible for managing trade breaks, DK's, and discrepancies. In 2006, they moved to RBC Capital Markets (formerly Carlin Financial) as a Proprietary Trader, trading domestic equity securities in the NASDAQ and NYSE markets. In 2007, they joined Northern Trust as Manager, VP, Managed Accounts Group, where they were responsible for managing a team of overlay portfolio managers and trade support. In this role, they implemented trading for a client base covering over $26 billion in AUM in over 28,000 accounts and managed multiple strategies including SMA and UMA structures, balanced accounts blending fixed income and equities, mutual fund models incorporating substitution logic, and model of models. In 2016, they became a Business Analyst for Jump Solutions, a consultant. Finally, in 2018, they joined SMArtX Advisory Solutions as a Trading Operations Specialist.

Jason Dawson obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Palm Beach Atlantic University between 2013 and 2014. Jason also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the same university in 2001.
