Dave started their career as a Senior Programmer at MVi- Millennial Vision, Inc. in September 2003. Dave then went on to found Mood Tracker Web Media, LLC in 2010. After four years, they joined Adobe Systems as a Senior Application Developer in July 2010. In May 2014, they joined Vivint Smart Home as Manager, Software Development.

At Vivint Smart Home, Dave managed a team of talented developers and conducted interviews for open positions to build and maintain software systems for the inside sales call center team. These software systems were key to generating over 85,000 new customer subscriptions in 2018. Dave also headed teams of local and offshore developers to deliver an SMS text message and email referral tool used by more than 1,100 call center agents. Between its launch in May 2019 and September 2019, this tool achieved over 500 new subscribers adding tremendous value to the company.

In 2019, Dave evaluated the technical capabilities of multiple vendors to identify a new managed hosting vendor and content management system (CMS) for the company’s website, vivint.com. This improved website speed by over 175%.
