Nick Jordan

Nick Jordan is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic advisor with extensive experience in venture building, technology, and innovation. As Managing Partner at UNBOXED Venture Studio since January 2020, Nick works to transform ideas into viable businesses, emphasizing commercialization and capitalization. Nick founded Smashing Boxes in 2010, a creative technology firm based in Durham, North Carolina, and played a significant role in launching The Iron Yard Academy to address the shortage of software engineers. Additional ventures include serving as Ecosystem Builder at Durham Bottling Co, Strategic Advisor for Remote Talent Pipeline, and Board Member of Stash Storage, among other roles. Nick is also a host of the podcast "Next Matters Most" and has contributed as a mentor in the RIOT Accelerator Program. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
