Cindy Herzog

Cindy Herzog has over 25​ years of hospitality experience, holding leadership roles which have required every aspect from start to finish of planning, strategizing and preparing for the opening of new hotels, as well as maintaining operations with consecutive and uninterrupted highest ranking performance, regardless of new hotels entering the marketplace. As Executive Vice President, Operations, Ms. Herzog oversees ​all operations and management​ of the ​portfolio. Ms. Herzog’s numerous responsibilities include Multi-Unit Oversight, Sales and Marketing,​ and​ Food & Beverage Operations. Ms. Herzog has meticulous knowledge of every facet of hotel operations. Her high energy and positive attitude is the consistent motivating factor in her employees desire to perform well and has greatly contributed to the success of all of the hotels she has been a part of.

Prior to joining SMASHotels, she was at the helm of a portfolio of hotels owned by affiliates of SMASHotels including Marriott and Hilton brands, orchestrating and overseeing the Fiscal and Physical operations including Guest Satisfaction, Brand Standards and Ownership Relations and overall Asset Management in order to maximize financial performance. Ms. Herzog is also integrally involved in new hotel development, construction, innovative technology research and ongoing full and partial renovations, seeing these projects through the stages of design, procurement, coordination, and execution. She also previously attained the position of General Manager across a diverse portfolio of hotels.

Ms. Herzog is passionate about helping those in need and has been involved in numerous charity activities with a focus on improving the lives of children, the care of elderly, and animal welfare.
