Jeff Janakus

Jeff Janakus serves as Vice President at SMC Construction - Contracting since November 2018, specializing as a general contractor and construction manager for diverse project types including resort, gaming, hospitality, and commercial sectors. Prior to this role, Janakus held the position of Vice President of Design & Construction at Station Casinos from May 2005 to November 2018, leading significant projects such as a $700 million remodel of the Palms Casino-Resort. Additional experience includes serving as Regional Director at Penta Building Group and Director of Business Development at Puma Steel. Janakus began a career in project construction with Hunt Construction Group and was also an Associate at Martin/Martin Consulting Engineers, overseeing design-build group operations. Janakus holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
