Brian Chertkow

Brian Chertkow is an experienced operations and manufacturing professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Operations Director at SMC Corporation Australia and New Zealand since December 2023, Chertkow previously held the same title at SMC Corporation Australia | New Zealand Group from April 2019 to March 2022. Prior to that, Chertkow was Lead Partner at nem Australasia, a leading mid-market consultancy firm, from April 2018 to April 2019. Chertkow's extensive background in manufacturing includes roles as Manufacturing Director at Zip Industries and Zip Heaters (Aust) Pty Ltd from February 2001 until May 2015, Director at Gabriel SA Pty Ltd from 1992 to December 2000, and Engineer at Atlas Aircraft Corporation from February 1985 to December 1992. Chertkow holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, completed between 1981 and 1984.
