Roumen Ivanov

Roumen Ivanov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of automation and robotics. Currently serving as a Product Specialist and Business Development Consultant for Electric Drives, Networks, and Robotics at SMC Pneumatics (UK) Ltd since April 2016, Roumen previously held the position of Lead Application Engineer in Electrical Automation at Festo from December 1995 until April 2016. Roumen's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials with a focus on Robotics and Automation from The University of Manchester, completed in September 2021, as well as a Master's Degree in Automation, Information, and Control Technologies from the Technical University of Varna, obtained in 1987.
