Tom Swinson is currently the Senior Director of Industry and Education Services at SMC3. Tom has been a valuable member of the SMC3 Leadership Team since January 2013, where Tom directs the design, planning, and execution of conferences, on-demand education, and best practice programs. Prior to their current role, Tom held various positions at the Georgia Ports Authority and South Carolina Ports Authority, where Tom directed marketing and communications initiatives, saving an average of $250K annually and establishing the Port of Savannah as the 4th largest US container port. Tom holds a Master of Logistics & Supply Chain Management (MLSCM) from Georgia College & State University and a Certification Less Than Truckload (CLTL) from SMC3.
