The Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Association (SME Association) has been representing the collective interests of Armenian SMEs since 2014. As of 2025, over 200 active SMEs are members of the Association.

Through its platform SMEam, the Association advocates for SME interests in policymaking and actively participates in Armenia’s public-private dialogue platforms. Its Governing Board President and members officially represent SMEs in:
-The SME Development Council under the Deputy Prime Minister,
- Sub-Council SMEDA under the Ministers of Economy and Finance (Tax Reform),
- Management Boards of four national inspection bogies,
- The Economic Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, where it also coordinates the NA-SME Council.

The Association actively collaborates with international and donor organizations and has implemented multiple SME support programs. It also maintains strong partnerships with SME unions in Estonia, Georgia, Belarus, and other countries.

With a growing membership and expanding international ties, the SME Association continues to be a key voice and advocate for Armenia’s SME sector. SMEam
