Bill C. Schwartz, Jr.

Bill Schwartz joined S&ME in 1995 and has built a successful 20+ year career at the firm having served various roles within the company including Staff Engineer; Project Manager; Construction Services Department Manager; Manager of Geotechncial, Drilling, and Construction Services Departments; Branch Manager for Spartanburg, Greenville, and Asheville locations; Construction Services Area Manager; and Vice President. His primary responsibilities today are to provide oversight and direction to S&ME’s Construction Services Business Unit.

Bill was heavily involved in the development of several companywide initiatives, including the 2023 Strategic Plan, Leadership Development Program, as well as task forces for project, client and program management. Bill’s passion is people, and he takes great pride in mentoring the future leaders of S&ME. Bill also contributes to the engineering community at large through his work with local professional and civic organizations.

Bill graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a registered professional engineer.
