Ronald T. Erb

Ronald T. Erb began their work experience in 1984 as a Project Engineer at Schnabel Engineering Associates, where they focused on subsurface investigations, construction observation, and pressuremeter testing. Ronald T. worked out of the Bethesda office and assisted other regional offices with pressuremeter testing services until June 1990.

In June 1990, Erb joined BBC&M Engineering, Inc. as Vice President. BBC&M was a mid-sized geotechnical engineering company with offices in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, Ohio. In October 2011, BBC&M was acquired by S&ME, Inc., and became the Ohio branch of the company.

After the acquisition, Erb stayed with S&ME, Inc. and became a Senior Engineer, overseeing construction services, laboratory, geotechnical, and drilling services. Ronald T. held this position from October 2011 to December 2013.

In January 2014, Erb took on the role of Construction Services Area Manager at S&ME, Inc. In this role, they managed the construction services departments in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, with a home base in the Columbus, Ohio office. Ronald T. continues to manage these departments to this day.

In October 2017, Erb transitioned to the role of Principal Engineer and Senior Project and Client Manager at S&ME, Inc. in addition to their Construction Services Area Manager responsibilities. Their current role involves providing quality services in the aforementioned states, traveling regularly to offices and construction sites in the region.

Ronald T. Erb obtained a BSCE/MSCE degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University between 1978 and 1984.
