Jerry McWherter

Jerry McWherter has extensive experience in the steel industry, with their most recent role being the Vice President of Sales at SME Steel Contractors since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President CA Sales at Schuff Steel Company from 2008 to 2021. In this role, they provided customers with structural steel fabrication and erection services, utilizing cutting-edge technology for managing and tracking company operations. Before joining Schuff Steel Company, Jerry served as the NV & CA Sales Manager at Strocal, Inc. from 2006 to 2008 and as the Regional Sales Manager at Merrill Iron and Steel in 2005. Jerry began their career at HLM Steel, where they worked as the Executive Vice President Sales from 1977 to 2005.

Jerry McWherter attended Eastern Illinois University from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor's in Science degree.
