Matt Godsey

Matt Godsey has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Matt is currently the VP of Sales at SME Steel. Prior to this role, they held positions at SME Steel Contractors, Ezarc Welding, Adams and Smith Inc., Mountain states steel, Adams & Smith Inc., Novatek, Mayes Testing Engineers, CKC Structural Engineers, and the University of Washington. Matt'sroles included Vice President of Project Management, Executive Director of QA/QC, Vice President/Quality Control Manager, Project Manager/Contracts, Contracts Manager, Field Engineer, Engineer/Project Manager, Staff Engineer, Intern, and Teaching Assistant. Matt has experience in various aspects of construction, including steel erection, project management, quality control, research, engineering, design, inspections, and teaching.

Matt Godsey received their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Matt then pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from 2008 to 2009.
