Accounting and Financial Services

The Accounting and Financial Services team at SMECO handles all financial aspects of the cooperative, including managing accounts, preparing financial statements, overseeing treasury functions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The team includes roles such as Staff Accountants, who maintain accurate financial records; a Treasury Manager, who oversees cash management and financial planning; an Accounting Director, who leads the department and ensures alignment with organizational goals; and Accounting Clerks, who assist with daily financial operations. Together, they ensure the financial health and integrity of SMECO.
