Prega Sundram currently serves as the Business Development Manager at SMEI Projects, a specialist project management construction company since July 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the supply, fabrication, delivery, and installation of various systems within the mining, heavy industrial, petrochemical, and oil/gas sectors. Prior to this role, Prega held the position of Managing Director and General Manager at Killarney Engineering (Pty) LTD from November 2010 to June 2016, and worked in sales at Andrew Mentis (Pty) LTD from March 1996 to October 2010.

SMEI Projects
SMEI is a Specialist Project Management Construction Company working into the Supply, Fabrication, delivery and Installation of Structural Steel, Mechanical Equipment, Flooring, Handrail systems, Plate Work, Piping, Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation fields, associated with process plants, materials handling systems within the mining, heavy industrial, Petrochemical and Oil/Gas sectors. SMEI does not have design, engineering, civil and earthworks capabilities. We would work from concrete level right up to commissioning and hand over to the client. SMEI has the capabilities to fabricate medium to heavy Structural steel at our premises in Boksburg East, Gauteng and also have supply and fabricating partners throughout the Country and outside the borders. We also have our own in-house drafting facility, working on Tekla steel detailing packages which facilitate the speedy turnout of workshop drawings.
