Dr. Ratnesh Thapliyal

Dr. Ratnesh Thapliyal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of predictive maintenance diagnostics and sensor technology. As Co-Founder and CEO of SmellCells Ltd. since March 2021, and Co-Founder and Director of Sales at Alpha Diagnostics Ltd. since July 2018, Dr. Thapliyal has played a pivotal role in the development and commercialization of innovative diagnostic systems for various applications, including engines and industrial machinery. Prior experience includes significant contributions at JAQUET Technology Group as Business Development Manager and Advance Technology Expert, as well as leadership roles at IST AG, EMPA St Gallen, and IIT Bombay. Dr. Thapliyal holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Basel, along with advanced degrees in Materials Science & Technology and Physics from IIT Bombay and IIT Roorkee, respectively.
