Meehiir Desai

Meehiir Desai currently serves as SVP & Head of Marketing at SMFG India Credit, a position held since June 2021, leading marketing and corporate communications functions. Previously, Meehiir was the Head of Marketing Communications at Fino Payments Bank Ltd from January 2017 to October 2020, overseeing brand strategy and campaign execution. At Sony Pictures Networks India, as Senior Manager for SONY PAL, Meehiir successfully turned the channel around within two years of its launch. Prior experience includes contributions to Times Global Broadcasting Co. Ltd. as Senior Manager for Marketing at Times Now, leading digital growth and enhancing ratings during key events. Meehiir also worked as Manager of Marketing at Network18 Media & Investments Limited, improving channel ratings and salience. Early career experience included a role as Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking at HDFC Bank. Meehiir holds an MBA from K J Somaiya Institute of Management and a BCom from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.
