Priya Suvarna serves as Vice President of Credit Governance at SMFG India Credit since April 2023, after a tenure at YES BANK focused on Business Strategy Planning and Digital Projects. Previously, Priya managed the Small Business Banking Portfolio at Axis Bank, overseeing various aspects including working capital product lines and customer engagement strategies. Prior experience includes a Senior Manager role in Microfinance at Reliance Money, where responsibilities encompassed credit processes and training, as well as a Senior Officer position in Customer Service at ICICI Bank, addressing retail customer issues. Priya’s career began as a Team Coach at eFunds, supervising product launches and team development. Educational credentials include an MBA in Human Resource from K.J. Somaiya College and further studies at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
