Laura Rod

Laura Rod serves as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Smile Brands Inc., leading marketing and contact center initiatives to uphold the company's mission of delivering Smiles for Everyone since June 2025. Previously, Laura held the position of VP of Marketing at PhyNet Dermatology LLC from March 2023 to June 2025, where leadership of a four-person marketing team focused on creating scalable and cost-effective marketing solutions. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Marketing and Communications at WestDerm, where Laura managed a six-member team to enhance patient volume and integrate marketing strategies for acquired practices. Additionally, Laura was Vice President of Marketing at Acuity Eye Group, concentrating on patient experience and digital marketing, and worked as Senior Manager of Marketing at Pacific Dental Services, supporting local dentists in business growth. Laura holds a BBA in Marketing and International Studies from Ohio University.
