Tammy Filipiak

Tammy Filipiak has a diverse work experience in the field of dental hygiene. Tammy currently serves as the Vice President of Hygiene Support/Clinical Operations at Smile Brands Inc. since October 2021 and also holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Development since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at the Midwest Dental Support Center, where they held the roles of Vice President of Clinical Development and Director of Clinical Development. Tammy provided leadership to the Clinical Team and was involved in strategic planning, development of treatment protocols, and enhancing patient care. Tammy also served as the President of the American Dental Hygienists' Association from June 2017 onwards. Tammy has previously worked as a Dental Hygiene Educator at OraPharma, a Dental Hygienist at Dr. David Wanserski's practice, and as the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Dental Hygienists Association. Tammy also has experience as an Adjunct Faculty at Northcentral Technical College.

Tammy Filipiak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Upper Iowa University in 2002. Tammy then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Quality from Marian University of Fond du Lac in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Northcentral Technical College in 1987.
