Akin Alayoku

Akin Alayoku has a comprehensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on technical operations and network maintenance. Akin began their career at Airtel Nigeria (formerly Celtel) as a Supervisor for BSS Maintenance and later took on the role of Manager for Network Maintenance. In 2007, they joined MTN Nigeria and held various positions, including Senior Manager for Network Region Coordination, GM for Regional Operations, and GM for Core Network Operations. In 2013, they became a Principal Consultant at K.A. Primewater before transitioning to IHS Towers in 2016 as the Director of Operations. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technical Officer at Smile Communications Nigeria Limited.

Akin Alayoku holds a postgraduate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from The University of Texas at Austin, which is expected to be completed in 2023. Akin also has a Master's degree in International Management from the University of Liverpool, obtained from 2009 to 2012.
