Ethylin Jabs

Ethylin Jabs is a distinguished medical professional currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Clinical Genomics at Mayo Clinic and as a National Advisory Child Health and Human Development (NACHHD) Council Member at The National Institutes of Health. Jabs holds adjunct professorships at both the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Johns Hopkins University, where a significant academic career has been established. Jabs' extensive experience includes being a Medical Board Member at Born A Hero, a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Moebius Syndrome Foundation, and a Medical Advisory Board Member at The Smile Train. As a founding member of the American College of Genetics and Genomics, Jabs has contributed to the field since 1993. A former Chief of the Division of Medical Genetics at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Jabs completed extensive training at The Johns Hopkins University, earning a BA and MD, and holding fellowships in Clinical Genetics, Cytogenetics, and Molecular Genetics.
