Alberto Jimenez San Mateo has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2010 when they invested in Job and Talent. In 2012, they held the role of On-line Advertising Account Manager at Microsoft. In 2013, they invested in PetCoach, which was later acquired by Petco. In 2014, they co-founded and became CEO of Smileat, an organic baby food brand that is second in market share in the Spanish market. In 2017, they invested in PlenEat, a catering service of food made with 100% ecological ingredients, and Velohub, a company delivering smart technology for urban cyclists. In 2020, they became a private investor in IND I Nutricionistas deportivos, a company dedicated to improving the performance of athletes through nutrition. In 2021, they became a mentor at Culinary Action! and a partner at Unitatea Capital.
Alberto Jimenez San Mateo began their educational career at Colegio Santa Maria del Pilar from 1988 to 2003. In 2003, they attended Universidad Rey Juan Carlos to pursue a Licenciado in ADE until 2008. In 2007, they attended Rennes School of Business to pursue a Licenciado in Business until 2008. In 2009, they attended IMAFE to pursue a Tecnico de Comercio Exterior in Postgrado en Comercio Exterior. Finally, in 2012, they attended Stanford University to pursue Technology Entrepreneurship.
