Cristian Bumbea

Cristian BUMBEA is an experienced ETO Superintendent with a robust background in managing electrical operations and maintenance for offshore vessels. Currently serving at Smit Lamnalco since January 2019, Cristian oversees the repair and troubleshooting efforts for a fleet of 14 vessels. Previous roles include ETO Superintendent at Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited, where responsibilities encompassed major repairs and coordination for dry docking, as well as several ETO positions across various companies, including Tidewater and Thome Ship Management. Cristian holds a Master's degree in Oil and Gas Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from esteemed maritime institutions, complemented by specialized training in electric propulsion systems.
