John Wendling

John Wendling is an experienced IT management professional with a rich background in service delivery and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as Group IT Manager at Smit Lamnalco since June 2018, John oversees global IT support for numerous offices and over 160 vessels, utilizing a specialized team from the Rotterdam office. Prior experience includes leadership roles at SBM Offshore, where John established IT Service Delivery Management and managed IT Operations & Infrastructure. As the owner of W-ITSM, John led consultancy projects focused on information management and infrastructure improvements. With an educational foundation in Business Information Management and Contract Management, John combines technical expertise with effective leadership and a strong focus on customer relations.
