Nina Zagar

Nina Zagar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting, currently serving as Group Accountant Sr. at Smit Lamnalco since August 2015. In this role, Nina is responsible for financial reporting across multiple European entities in accordance with US GAAP, preparing consolidated financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and SOX standards. Prior experience includes a position as Financial Accountant at RGP, where Nina handled financial administration for various engagements and managed client billing processes, as well as roles at APG and an accounting firm, Vesna Zagar s.p., focusing on collateral management, GL accounting, and financial statement preparation. Nina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a specialization in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Ljubljana and furthered education at Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Valencia.
