Len Berkman

Len Berkman is the Anne Hesseltine Hoyt Professor of Theatre at Smith College, where they have taught since 1969. They earned a B.A. in English from Columbia University and completed their MFA and DFA at Yale University in playwriting and dramatic literature. In addition to their long tenure at Smith, Len held visiting professor roles at the University of Hamburg from 2008 to 2014, including positions as a Fulbright Senior Specialist.
