Jody Hunt

Jody Hunt has a diverse work experience in the construction and home-building industry. Jody started their career as a Punch-Out Man & Internship at Donny Brook Homes, Inc., where they performed various construction tasks and ensured cleanliness on job sites. Jody then became a Field Finish Manager, overseeing the completion of houses from framing stage to punch-out. After that, they served as a Design Manager, handling the full scope of the Design department and developing construction drawings for houses. In 2008, they worked as an Estimator and Designer at TELOS CORPORATION, Inc., where they created estimating templates, estimated and bid for projects, and acted as a Project Engineer for a conversion project. From 2009 to 2015, Jody worked as a Drafting Manager at America's Home Place, managing a team that produced custom construction plans for the company. Recently, they joined Smith Douglas Homes as the Director of Product Development.

Jody Hunt obtained a Bachelor of Science in Construction with a focus on Construction Management from Georgia Southern University. This took place from 1995 to 1998.
