Spencer Hood

Spencer Hood is currently an Audit Intern at SEK, CPAs & Advisors, responsible for assisting with audits, preparing financial statements, and supporting staff with tax returns and forensic projects. Previous experience includes a Tax Intern role where tax forms and 1099s were prepared for various clients. At the Wood Honors College at Shippensburg University, Spencer Hood serves as a Student Assistant, Co-chair of the Alumni Relations Committee, Honors Ambassador, and Student Mentor, engaging with alumni, organizing events, and assisting new students. Additional experience includes volunteer work with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, providing tax preparation support to low-income individuals, and roles in retail and food service. Spencer Hood holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Shippensburg University.
