Katelyn Courtney

Katelyn Courtney is an experienced interior designer currently working at Smith Gee Studio since January 2023. Prior to this role, Katelyn was an interior designer at Wier Boerner Allin Architecture from May 2021 to February 2023. Katelyn also contributed to the academic environment as a Professor Student Assistant at Mississippi State University between January 2020 and May 2021 and gained retail experience as a Retail Specialist at The Idea Shop in late 2019, which is focused on product acceleration. Katelyn's teaching qualifications include serving as an Art Teacher at the Mississippi State University Center for Continuing Education from October 2018 to October 2019. An internship at Dean and Dean/Associates Architects in late 2018 provided valuable project experience, including fabric sampling and CAD drawing. Katelyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Mississippi State University, earned in 2021.
