Michael Turvin

Michael Turvin is an experienced architect and designer currently serving as an Architect at Cuningham since March 2023 and as a Senior Designer at Smith Gee Studio since November 2022. In addition to these roles, Michael has been a Project Architect at Tuck-Hinton since March 2022, having previously held the position of Sr. Designer at Smith Gee Studio from April 2019 to March 2022 and Designer prior to that. An architectural intern at Wold Architects and Engineers from July 2017 to March 2019, Michael also contributed as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from July 2015 to September 2016, working on digital fabrication and design projects. Earlier experience includes a role as Technician Assistant at the University of Michigan, operating CNC machines, and various positions as a professional bartender and salesperson. Michael Turvin holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Auburn University.
