Samuel Galita

Samuel Galita is a finance and mathematics undergraduate at the University of Maryland, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Quant Trading Intern at IMC Trading since June 2024, Samuel also holds the position of Senior Quantitative Analyst at Smith Investment Fund, specializing in strategy research within the quantitative team. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for courses on financial markets and big data in finance at the University of Maryland. Additional internships include an Investments Intern position at T. Rowe Price and a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Samuel began professional development as an Information Tech Intern at Catonsville High School from 2019 to 2021.
