Steve Erchul began their work experience in 1996 as a Senior at McGladrey & Pullen. Steve then worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Accountant from 1999 to 2002. In 2000, they joined Smith Schafer CPAs as a Tax Principal, where they provided tax and consulting services to individuals and businesses, as well as valuation services for various purposes. From 2010 to 2015, Steve served as the Treasurer for the Parkinsons Association of Minnesota.
Steve Erchul obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from North Dakota State University, where they attended from 1988 to 1993. Later, they pursued their Masters in Taxation at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, completing their studies from 1997 to 2000.
