Roger Perkins

Roger Perkins is the current Principal at Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. Prior to that, they were the Director of Florida Operations at Henderson Engineers, Inc from August 2015 to March 2020. In that role, they were responsible for managing and directing the national office towards the company's primary objectives of increased productivity, name recognition, profit maximization, and corporate culture. Roger also cultivated client and employee relations and developed new business. Additionally, they assisted designers and engineers with overall system design, quality control, and meeting deadlines.

Before Henderson Engineers, Perkins was the Principal at Alliance MEP Engineers, Inc from September 2010 to July 2015. In that role, they were responsible for business development, MEP project management, scheduling, marketing, quality control, site observations, proposal development, project and add-service pricing, company standards, company brochure/webpage development, invoicing and collections. Roger has significant experience in HUD and VHDA financing practices, peer review; and Green Initiative design incorporating LEED, Earth Craft, Energy Star and NAHB (from Certified up to Gold level).

Perkins began their engineering career as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager at KTD Consulting Engineers, Inc in April 1996. Roger held that role for 14 years before moving on to Alliance MEP Engineers.

Roger Perkins has a certification from RESNET HERS Rater.

They work with Darren Harvey - Principal, David Donoho - Senior Principal, and Susan Osterberg - COO. Roger Perkins reports to Steve Lane, CEO & President.
