Steve Lane has been with Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. for their entire career, starting as a civil engineer in 1978. Steve worked their way up to executive vice president, and then became president and COO in 2012. Steve has been CEO & president since February 2018.
Steve Lane has completed both a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering, both in Civil Engineering with a focus on Environmental and Water Resources, from Vanderbilt University. Steve is also a certified Professional Engineer (PE), Diplomate in Environmental Engineering (DEE), and Fellow of the American Council of Engineering Companies (FACEC).
