Olivia Ramsey is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in early childhood education and bilingual teaching. Currently serving as Senior Director at Smith Street Maternelle since September 2018 and as Founder/Executive Director at Smith Street Workshop since January 2015, Olivia has demonstrated strong leadership and innovation in educational settings. Prior roles include Dual Language Teacher at the NYC Board of Education from September 2008 to August 2013, Lead Teacher at Lycée Français de New York from September 2005 to August 2008, and Lead Preschool Teacher at Downtown Little School from September 2003 to August 2005. Olivia holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, French Language and Literature from Earlham College.

Smith Street Workshop is a tutoring, educational enrichment center and French immersion preschool in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. We work with students from Pre-K through high school. We provide individual and group tutoring, Common Core and SHSAT test prep, after school French programs run by bilingual educators, and a French Immersion Preschool and French Immersion Summer Camp.
