G. Timothy Long

G. Timothy Long has extensive experience in the turf and irrigation industry, currently serving as the Territory Manager for the Golf & Grounds Group at Smith Turf & Irrigation since January 2005, managing over 300 accounts and driving territory sales growth. Previously, Long worked at Century Equipment as a Golf & Irrigation Account Manager, where a 50% increase in territory sales was achieved within one year. At Simpson Norton, Long established seven new golf course accounts, while the role at Chicago Turf & Irrigation involved coordinating sales and service departments and recruiting new staff. Long holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Mechanization from Eastern Kentucky University, complementing a foundational education from Ballard High School in Louisville, KY.
