Dave Almeida

Dave Almeida has an extensive career in the manufacturing and processing industries, with over 45 years of experience. At Smith & Wesson since January 1978, Dave has served as Team Leader in Heat Treat, managing production and troubleshooting operations for over 20 years, while also holding roles as a target tester for 3 years, revolver repairman for 5 years, inspector for 3 years, and working in a specialty shop as an engraved gun fitter. Prior to this, Dave gained 5 years of experience at Technicolor as a darkroom splicer and processor, as well as operating film processing equipment. Education includes a high school diploma with a college prep focus in English Language and Literature from Classical High School in Springfield, Massachusetts, earned between 1970 and 1973.
