Jonathan Lurie has a diverse work experience spanning many industries. Jonathan started their career as an Account Executive at Marketing Support, Inc. in 1981 and stayed with the company for ten years. Jonathan then worked as the Vice President of Marketing at Gladson from 1991 to 1994. After that, they served as the Creative Director at European Communications Group from 1996 to early 1997. Following this, they took on the role of Marketing Manager at Belgacom from 1997 to 1998. Lastly, they joined Smithbucklin in 1999 as the Vice President of Client Support and Innovation, where they continue to work.

Jonathan Lurie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981. Then from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Painting Certificate in Continuing Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, specializing in Fine and Studio Arts.
