Laura Werfelmann

Laura Werfelmann has extensive experience in event management and client relations, demonstrated through various roles in prominent organizations. At SmithBucklin from 2013 to 2016, Laura served as Event Director and Manager of Event Services, where strategic initiatives for key clients were developed and implemented, resulting in exceptional client satisfaction. Prior roles at SmithBucklin included Events Senior Coordinator and Events Coordinator, focusing on innovative event execution and budget adherence. From 2017 to 2021, Laura worked as Account Lead at Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc., utilizing project management skills to enhance client relations. Previous experience includes serving as Event Sales Coordinator at The Arboretum Club, where Laura was instrumental in generating significant event business, and an Event Planning Intern at United Way of Dane County, where large-scale events were planned for up to 800 attendees. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Consumer Affairs in Business and Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
