Aaron Thompson, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT management and medical operations. Currently serving as Manager of IT North America within the Materials Science and Engineering Division at Smithers since April 2016, responsibilities include administration and project management for Microsoft O365, Teams, SharePoint, and ShareFile, along with budget forecasting for the IT department. Previous roles encompass significant leadership positions in the Ohio National Guard, where Aaron oversaw training, discipline, and welfare for medical personnel. With a background in SharePoint development at University Hospitals and FirstMerit Bank, combined with foundational roles in customer service and education, Aaron holds a Master of Business Administration from Ohio Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Indiana Wesleyan University.
