Erin Thacker has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Erin started their career as a Nutrition and Wellness Educator at Chesapeake Public Schools from 2010 to 2015. Erin then joined Smithfield Foods in 2015 and held various roles such as Associate Innovation Manager/Nutritionist, Associate Brand Manager, and Brand Manager until 2021. Erin also worked as an Account Executive at Midan Marketing from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for Tyson Fresh Meats. From 2022 to 2023, Erin worked as an Associate Account Director at The Wilson Group (TWG), where they oversaw the development and execution of omnichannel marketing strategies for grocery retailers. Currently, they are working as an Omnicommerce Manager - Brand Lead at Smithfield Foods.
Erin Thacker obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition Foods and Exercise with a focus in Dietetics and Consumer Foods from Virginia Tech between 2005 and 2009. Erin then pursued a Master's Degree in Management from the American Public University System from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Erin Thacker completed a Dietetic Internship specializing in Food and Nutrition Management at the University of Delaware from 2009 to 2010.
